These people competencies come from feedback from individuals in my career and personal life, self-reflection, and the IPIP-NEO assessment. I believe that my greatest strength is my ability my persuasiveness, but only when I myself am excited about the object or idea being discussed. While my IPIP-NEO reflects a low modesty score (26 of 100), my unique-level of openness to others thoughts and ideas leads me to believe that being too cooperative is the competency I will need to develop the most. While reading The Advantage, by Patrick Lencioni, he shared that a key principle needed to develop organizational health is mastery of conflict. The reason why I wish to work on my level of cooperativeness is due to the fact that I tend to avoid conflict.
